We are proud to announce that 13 dedicated volunteers have successfully completed the Emergency First Aid in Rugby Union (EFARU) course, equipping them with vital skills to help keep our players, coaches, and supporters safe.
This achievement supports our commitment to RugbySafe, the RFU’s overarching player welfare and wellbeing programme. As part of our Chairman Glen Lever’s ongoing drive to ensure Bingham RUFC not only meets but exceeds RFU guidelines, investing in high‑quality first aid provision remains a key priority for the club.
The training, held at Bingham Rugby Club, combined practical, hands‑on learning with real‑world scenarios, ensuring our volunteers are confident and ready to respond when needed. Their commitment reflects the very best of our club spirit, teamwork, care, and community.
We are also pleased to confirm that, following strong interest from others who previously expressed a wish to help provide first aid cover, we hope to run an additional course later this season.
Congratulations to all our newly qualified volunteers — your efforts make a real difference.
