Following the arrival of our temporary changing facilities for the Junior Section, much of the work to prepare, improve and maintain the portakabin has been carried out by a small group of volunteers during the week.
Whilst we appreciate not everyone can spare time midweek, the project has highlighted just how much can be achieved when people come together to lend a hand. With that in mind, we are launching The Helping Hands Society.
A group of volunteers who can meet regularly, most likely on a Thursday, to tackle the many jobs around the club that do not require specialist skills, but make a huge difference to the appearance, upkeep and running of Bingham Rugby Club.
From painting and tidying to fixing, clearing, cleaning, organising and improving our facilities, there is always something that needs doing.
Whether you are a parent, coach, supporter, player, volunteer, one of our Bingham Old Boys, or simply someone who wants to help the club thrive, we would love you to get involved as and when you are able to.
What can you expect?
No special skills are required. Just enthusiasm, a willingness to get stuck in, and a desire to help keep our club in great shape.
Together, we can keep our club looking its best and ensure it remains a place we can all be proud of.
This Week
Whilst Thursday at 10.30am will be our usual meeting time, this week we will be meeting on Wednesday at 10.30am to finish painting the roof of the temporary changing facilities and make the most of some excellent drying weather.
