lose out to league leaders 19 - 3 but more than held our own

Travelling away to league leaders Moderns 2nds with only 16 but a great performance. Forwards more than held their own, backs tackled well and dominated much of the 1st half but as has been the case just could not get the decisive try to give us a push in the close games but went in at half time leading by a penalty to nil. The 2nd half still matching Moderns but Moderns edged it with 2 tries almost given to them from mistakes at the back and Moderns run out winners 19 – 3.

The league positions do not lie but great confidence from Huw that we more than stood up to a good Moderns teams and that we should be more than capable of turning them over in the return subject to us getting a consistent team out!!
