New players star as Bingham win

The game was played in 4 sessions with rolling subs allowing all players from both teams to be involved. Bingham playing uphill started on fire running in 3 quick tries, 2 from Nick Halstead and Anthony Thomas and 2 conversions from Tom Packer before Southwell crossed the line. Half time came with Bingham ahead 10 - 19.
Early in the 2nd half, pressure on the Southwell backs in their own half forced an error and Shawn Toomey gathered and went over from 22m. Southwell countered and scored from a quickly taken penalty bringing score to 17 – 26. Another try from Shawn Toomey & Will North. With 2 of 3 conversions in the 2nd half extended the lead to 17 – 38 before Southwell scored a final consolation try in the last 2 mins final score 24 – 38
