Good early exchanges with Kesteven getting the breakthrough after about 15 mins 7 - 0
Playing uphill Bingham managed to work up field and maintain possession and put pressure on with Dylan Roberts making some great breaks and Sean Richarson backing up but unable to make that extra 5m.
Sean Richarson again made good ground and not sure how he managed to be so nimble footed when treacherous underfoot. Kesteven to their credit kept us on our toes looking to run the ball and take quick penalties.
JT then scored after another period of pressure with Tom Packer adding the conversion.
Kesteven with a young back 3 were very dangerous on the counter but good defence closed them down. Close on HT, Tom Packer pulls a penalty just wide as the wind took it away last minute. HT 7 - 7
2nd half played more in the Kesteven half and Bingham squandering several chances with white line fever whilst Kesteven were a man down but after another sucession of forward drives and getting tied up, John Rickard eventually gets over.
Another try from John Rickard later in the half with both tries converted by Tom Packer gave Bingham the win 7 - 21
