Lincoln 31 - 17 Bingham

A howling wind put paid to a free flowing game and with the wind end to end, literally a game of 2 halves

Lincoln won the toss and played with the wind. Early Bingham possession but found it near impossible to make any ground.

10 mins in and Lincoln get the ball wide to open the scoring followed by a 2nd a few minutes later.

Some dogged defence stemmed the tide but Lincoln got a 3rd before Bingham camped on the Lincoln try line but were denied.

Just on half time, a blow as Lincoln get a 4th. HT 24 - 0

Turning round Bingham get the advantage of the wind and start to show progress but the killer blow comes after conceding a penalty and line out and Lincoln scoring from 1st phase 31 - 0

To Bingham credit, the team galvanised and began to press forcing Lincoln back into their own 22 and maintaining pressure.

Harry Lister then starts a few Lincoln jitters by getting a 3rd as the score closes to 31 - 17
