Bingham travelled to face Market Rasen and Louth 2's this weekend, coming away on the wrong side of a 43–31 scoreline after a dramatic afternoon of rugby.
A slow start saw Market Rasen open the scoring early, but Bingham worked hard to stay within touching distance and went into half time only a couple of scores behind.
The second half delivered just about everything. After a flurry of yellow cards, Bingham were reduced to 12 men, yet somehow produced some of their best rugby of the match, even winning the period while three players down.
With injuries piling up across the squad, a few club veterans stepped in to help make up the numbers, and they delivered a huge shift.
Despite the result, it was a physical, entertaining contest played in great spirit, with plenty of positives to take forward.
From the tee, Jack Barnard was flawless, slotting 5 from 5.
